Now supporting Gowalla, Google and GoodReads

| Updated

In our never ending quest to bring awesome profile power to gravatar users, we’ve added support for three awesome services: Gowalla, GoodReads and Google Profiles. And yes, it is true, given we are called Gravatar, we do have a secret preference for G named services.

You can add these new services to your Gravatar Profile the same way you add any other service. Just click “Edit My Profile” under the “My Account” menu at the top of Gravatar.com and then go to the “Verified Services” section. Enjoy!

Can i organize the position of verified service. For example, i want Twitter at top, then flickr, then others.

Not yet, no. Services are listed alphabetically according to the name of the service. We might add the ability to reorder them at some point though.

Awesome, I love GoodReads. It’s funny how all the best online services start with G.

Not currently, no. It’s something we’re thinking of adding in the future though.

    Hello,

I’ve got a question. Smth is apparently wrong with my gravatars. While I can see a default gravatar in my WP dashboard (blue “launch” button) the avatars shown in the comments are grey and, well, completely different: http://lifehacking.pl/2011/07/05/zarzadzamy-lista-znajomych-na-facebooku-wykorzystujac-znane-z-google-kregi/

Could you tell me what might be the reason?

I am using Disqus commenting system but it seems to have nothing to do with this issue.

    Thank you kindly in advance!

The grey silhouettes you’re seeing in you comment section are controlled by Disqus, so you should probably check with them to see what your options are.
