ravatars are far more suitable for forums where users are unlikely to post on a regular basis. My own forum is a basic support forum, users often only leave one or two posts and it isn’t really worth their effort to add an avatar.

I’m surprised more forum softwares aren’t implementing gravatars already. I implemented them in an SMF forum a while back (click my name above to see) and they’ve been great. Gravatars are far more suitable for forums where users are unlikely to post on a regular basis. My own forum is a basic support forum, users often only leave one or two posts and it isn’t really worth their effort to add an avatar.
