Gravatar 2.0 Coming in February!

The wait for Gravatar 2.0 is almost over. The new site will be released in early February with an all new interface and some great new functionality.

When the new site goes live, I’ll send a one time email notification to all account holders. If you don’t currently have an account, then leave a comment here (with your correct email address) and I will send you the notice as well.

Over the coming weeks I’ll be posting screenshots and other tidbits to keep you updated during the final phases of testing and deployment. Be sure to subscribe to the RSS feed to make sure you don’t miss anything!

Thanks for your patience, support, and enthusiasm. I look forward to a new and better Gravatar for everyone!

    Hey there Tom, I would just like to say that I wouldn’t mind getting the one time e-mail notification of the new release of the Gravatar website. I have been waiting to create an account and I am assured that this will be a great newer version which will further increase Gravatar as a whole.

    This is great news. Even though that most people have already looked after some solution to the gravatar-problem, I still think this service is the most accessible one for the common user.

    Good to hear your still ticking Tom. The blogging community had more rumors then you could shake a big stick at. My favorite two were that Yahoo and Google were going to fight over who could buy out your Gravatar project and the idea that you were selling it to Micro$oft Live. Is there any possibility that you might just put up account access for current users?
